  1. Yeah, they investigated and handed off all evidence to Alex Acosta, then a federal prosecutor in Florida. Acosta came up with the worst possible plea deal and Epstein got his "weekends in jail" sentence. You'll remember that Acosta later became Secretary of Labor in 2017.
