I wish Trump supporters would take the time to actually read project 2025, or at least a synopsis. And yes, I know he has denied it, but has also praised its creator during a speech at the Heritage Foundation. I don't believe for an instant that he wouldn't use it, because it gives a blueprint for fundamentally changing the executive branch. If anyone else (anyone with a D by their name) was to suggest these things there'd be a freakout of epic proportions, most notably on this same channel.

@wydoesntexist That 18% you just wrote about was when the bill contained the security packages for Ukraine and Israel. Those passed at a later date. The border security/immigration bill as written was the strongest we have seen in 35 years. Congress writes laws and the president signs them. Anything less is just a temporary executive order, as is in place now. We need laws, not executive orders.

@trjolly I read the entire thing, so you can stop with the disinformation. It was written mostly by a Republican senator, but there was definitely a bipartisan mix on the committee. I already addressed the Ukraine/Israel issue. That already passed, remember? Now we can pass this tough border bill once Donnie is out of the way.
