@bobcob3362 Yes, it is part and parcel of these opinion networks. Perhaps a revised and reinstated fairness doctrine might change this. I would welcome that, but am well aware that the monied interests of these types of networks would never allow it.

@bobcob3362 I sense that these networks tapped into primal territorial instincts. I read the comments sections of different news/entertainment/opinion channels and that is the one commonality...."this is 'our turf' and we must defend it". I find it curious and disheartening. And I see it as the gooey chocolate doughnuts of our lives; we know we shouldn't, but we take that first bite and then polish the box. A lizard-brain impulse which is absolutely unhealthy and yet even later when acknowledging this with logic and reason we will return to the same. This will never change by choice.
