So, you were also angry when the TCJA gave huge tax breaks to billionaires and corporations? And added $2.2 trillion in national debt?

@mscovfefe The way to build a country is through an educated populace. The way to keep a populace subservient is to argue against education. The free education received by millions through the GI Bill post-WWII made the US the greatest economy in the world.

Weird. You guys had no problem adding $2.2 trillion in national debt, so Bezos, Murdoch, Amazon and Fox could all have tax breaks, but helping average Americans succeed is a bridge too far?

Was canceling taxes for billionaires and corporations fair? Did you complain then?

Imagine paying extra taxes so Bezos, Murdoch, Musk, Amazon and NewsCorp could have lower taxes. We added $2.2 trillion in national debt for the TCJA.

@texas.defender_45-47 Amazon's did. We even gave them refund checks because of their credits. Great, huh?

@mscovfefe I will pay ten times as much paying for tax cuts for billionaires and corporations than I would paying for kids just starting out. I'd rather help average Americans rather than billionaires and corporations. Fox is arguing for the elite over the middle and lower classes here. Murdoch and NewsCorp paid billions less in taxes because of TCJA.

@joeyalfano4781 Ok? So, your argument is that he was wrong then and right now? Sure, I agree. You may be getting a little too caught up in the whole Fox spiel and believe all Americans are either one thing or the other? My particular state was at the end of the primary cycle, when the choice for Biden had already been made. If I had my druthers, I would have voted for a different Democrat candidate. My problem with Biden has always been that he has been a corporate democrat...so, we'll take what we can get as he is today. And, whatever that sliver is, it certainly beats the hell out of the full-on corporatists in the Republican party. What I laughed about when Fox was trying to come up with slanders for Biden, they actually chose "socialist", ffs. They really do think so little of their audience. And the shame is that most of the time they're right in their assessment..
