@darkdan3379 Then Covid happens. All of a sudden, poor folks have cash in their hands and yet aren't producing for the massa. Corporate America responds with ever increasing prices to claw that money away from those "unreliable poor folks" who "can't manage real money anyway". Corporations have had a couple banner years in a row. Investors are pleased.

@darkdan3379 He was the first to try trickle-down economics. His great plan was to hand more wealth to the "job-producers" (I kid you not, that was the language used) in the hopes that the government largesse would help the "job-producers" trickle wealth down upon the rest. Seems it didn't work. Then W Bush tried his version...yeah, didn't work that time either. Trump's TCJA was the new and improved trickle-down. Guess what? It didn't work either. Each time it was sold as economic stimulus, but was a thinly veiled move of wealth from bottom to top.
