  2. It is interesting to note how many politicians are where they are now because of family wealth. We truly do encourage a class of patricians with the current systems. Bootstraps are for peasants, I guess.

  3.  @johnswick4593  Sure, there are examples of politicians who begin at the bottom. But, research the Senate a bit, the individual Senators. And then also research wealth growth once anyone is elected. I guess I chose the wrong line of work.

There are likely hundreds, if not thousands who read the comments and are (can be?) influenced by posts with a bit of thought behind them. Perhaps not, but there's always hope, yeah?
