When have they NOT increased the military budget? Arms are about the only manufacturing we haven't farmed out to China.

@leopoldom.jr.dulguime3314 Oh heck no, no one will oppose it. The good ol' boys in Alabama and Florida would scream if we shut down production. Boeing would crash. LANL and Oak Ridge would fail. Arms-R-Us Ike was, of course, correct in a way. Beware the MIC. But Ike couldn't predict that our country would allow corporations to sell out American jobs for greater profit, leaving the MIC to become that much more important. But hey, we got the biggest and baddest toys on the planet, right?

@alaskangal1973 I happen to live very near the border. Things were much worse back in the early 2000s, before CBP used to catch as many people. Do people and drugs still get across? Sure. But if you've been around awhile you'd know it's been worse. But FOX wasn't losing their minds back then about it...why do you think they are now?
