  10.  @carmiethompson2676  That is an interesting take on what I typed. Sometimes, I find that the attempt to steer the direction of a conversation is every bit telling as the words spoken (or typed). This reveals intent more and better than the paragraphs written.

Cadence, speech rate, inflection, and breathing patterns are all as effective as words. Listening is a skill done with all senses, not just ears. To actually hear someone requires that one contextualize the entirety of the speaker/writer.
