@ThomasBeltz66 She was going to sell her story to the Enquirer. Pecker, the CEO, called Trump. Trump sent Cohen to pay her $130k for signing an NDA. She never called Trump, they called her. So, no blackmail. Even Trump's lawyers aren't disputing that.

@ThomasBeltz66 She was free to sell her story of her time with Trump to whoever she wanted. It was Trump who didn't want the story out there, I guess he felt it would affect the election. 🤷‍♂️ It may have, but we'll never know.

@ThomasBeltz66 Approaching is not a crime. Paying her $130k for an NDA is not a crime. Concealing the payment on behalf of the Trump campaign is a crime which resulted in a conviction for Mr. Cohen. The allegation about Mr.Trump is that he falsified business records to conceal the true purpose of reimbursements paid to Cohen.
