That is exactly what this segment is about....ginning up anger. Even the title is clickbait. Youngkin is NOT battling California's law. Wasn't it about two weeks ago when Fox was crowing about "States Rights!" ? Well, it is California's State Right to implement the laws it sees fit.

@kurtgandenberger6139 I think they could ban sales. And perhaps use of state roads, although I think there would be question of that. I know a state cannot ban the use of travel on interstate roads though. Additionally, I don't think a state would ever be so backwards to do so, but yeah, some dumb red state might try.

It will remain in developmental stages without a boost. And it is much further along than the developmental stages, I would term this the implementation stages. I do not see this push as a negative, but rather a kick in the pants.

What about them? This is only about NEW car sales and only after 2035. There is no ban on gasoline/diesel powered vehicles.

Yeah, that's not a thing. Fox is just trying out some different politicians for a VP nomination in 2024. That's what this entire clip is about....

@kapttainK What the Lieutenant Governor was discussing was how her state of Virginia had chosen to use rules developed in another state. Happens all the time and in this case it happened under a previous governor. But it was decided by Virginia's legislature. It is and will be an internal Virginia decision to keep or move away from those decisions. And again, it will be up to Virginia's legislature to decide. What is so friggin hard to figure out?
