It's wonderful to put a face to a name. What a great guy and he's so happy showing his home on wheels. Fantastic interview and video Ms. Carol. Thank you. πβ€ππ»

This looks like a lovely RV park for those people who are able to afford newer RV's. It's nice that they will consider you if you send them photos of your RV and they approve of how it looks. I understand why they have this rule. No doubt there will be some who prefers a park like this one. But this place isn't for me even if I bought a brand new RV. I don't care for places that discriminate based on someone's socioeconomic status and what people are able to buy for themselves to live in. We are all God's children and need to be treated fairly and be respected whether we are rich or poor. This is a wonderful series and I appreciate that you are showing options for all nomad people. I'm looking forward to your next video in this series. Thanks for sharing Ms.Carol. ππ€β€ππ»

That's an adorable looking travel trailer. I can't wait to see the rest of the inside. Good on Mrs.Pam for getting out there and living her dream. Thanks for sharing Ms.Carol. β€β€β€ Taupey πββ¬

The courage she has is absolutely amazing. Well they certainly don't make it easy for a Nomad with a serious life threatening illness. Like she doesn't have enough to worry about with having colon cancer. My heart goes out to her and I hope, pray and wish for the best for her and that she beats this cancer and comes through on the other side a stronger healthier human being. My heart goes out to you as well Ms.Carol. This is not going to be easy to document her journey. You're going to become a part of it. But what you're doing is extremely important. You both will be helping Nomads like her in so many ways. You both are in my thoughts and prayers. β€ππ»β€

This looks like a really cool place to live. I personally would prefer to have more space/land. I'm a high functioning autistic person. I need my alone time. But this is a very attractive community and no doubt neurotypical people would love to live in a place like this. I definitely want my own tiny home with a separate shipping container studio/office. I love that you're doing this series. Thanks Ms.Carol. I'm enjoy it. πβ€ππ»

Tim is an amazing guy. He has brilliant ideas. I love his van build. I especially love his solar panel secret storage and his kitchen and his running water and everything else. π π Thanks for sharing Ms.Carol and Tim. π€β€ππ»

Bernae is absolutely lovely. It's wonderful to connect her name to her real person. She's really has the right idea of trying it out first and then giving herself time to seriously consider it. I hope she is able to purchase an RV because it will be so much easier on her body than the minivan. She's not going to have to unpack and set up and take down and pack up every time she moves around. I believe that will make a huge difference. I'm legally disabled as well. So I understand. I'm going to have to go through that trial period with my minivan and my old disabled body as well here this Fall. Great Interview Ms.Carol. β€β€β€ Also, 4Patriots had a commercial probably close to 19:00 minutes long. It said 18:43 when I looked at the time length and it had already started running. I watched the whole thing. So those YouTube people owe you some money Ms.Carol. π΅ππ» You're getting close to 50K! We're going to have to have a live 50K Party when you hit it! π₯³β€π₯³

Great video Ms.Carol! This was a fantastic idea of your's to do this series. I watched it twice to see what he charges for just the "lot rent" but I didn't hear him say the price. Maybe I missed it twice. I imagine he's probably full of people who bring their own RV/travel trailers and just want to rent the lot. But just in case, do you know what it costs just to rent the lot? I'm probably going to end up buying a travel trailer for me and my cats to live in during the summer and remain stationary during the hot months. It will be easier to live in than my Pontiac Montana minivan and a bell tent. I wish Devon the best with the elections. What an intelligent young business man he is. Thanks for sharing. πβ€ππ» β€β€β€

I was beyond upset when I saw this on the news. I believe he and the other people involved should be criminally charged and sent to prison. He should also have to pay all the money back so it can go to help the people it was intended for. He's a cold hearted selfish man for literally taking food out of hungry children's mouths in order to gain some benefits for himself and his daughter. God also has a special place for people like him.

We need these tiny house villages for the homeless to live in all across the United States. God bless this pastor and all the people who have worked hard to make this a reality and a better place for some homeless Mother's and their children. Great Video Ms.Carol. β€β€β€β€β€ Taupey πββ¬

This lady has a beautiful tiny house. π This is what I plan to do eventually but with my own land. I'm looking forward to seeing the outside of her home. Great video Ms.Carol. β€β€β€

What a fantastic idea for a series Ms.Carol. I believe everyone needs to plan for their future no matter what age they are. Yes, keep your options open because you never know what's going to happen. But budget and save and have a plan and strive for it. I'm planning to buy land and eventually have a tiny home built to live in when I get older. And I'm looking forward to your next videos in the series to see what others have done. Thank you for sharing Ms.Carol. β€β€β€

This is an excellent video Ms.Carol. Thank you for making it. One of my grandfathers was a trucker. He told me if I ever had trouble out on a road, I could trust a trucker. I worked at Triple T and Texaco truck stops on I-10 outside of Tucson when I was a teenager and truckers are some of the nicest people you can meet. Once in a blue moon I'd meet a grumpy one. But 99% of them are good people who wouldn't hesitate to help a woman in trouble. Crystal Vanner said in one of her videos that she has parked in church parking lots and stayed over night. I would have to get a feel for the neighborhood that it's in first because you will most likely be alone there. Thanks again Ms. Carol. β€β€β€

Brilliant Tim! I love this. If I only use my minivan to camp, this will make a great shaded area where I can cook and hangout. Thank you so much Ms.Carol and Builder Tim. You two make a great film team. Tim shows how creative he is and demonstrates and Ms.Carol explains and asks all the right questions. Thank you for sharing. β€β€β€ I love that campsite Ms.Carol. it's absolutely beautiful. π»

It's all so cute. But I love his tiny mini kitchen. β€β€β€

Great Interview Ms.Carol. So many of us have been caretakers for most of our lives but have forgotten to take care of ourselves. So very interesting. Thank you. π¦ππ¦

What a beautiful woman. Her happy disposition and positive energy is contagious. Thanks for sharing Ms.Carol. πβ€ππ»

Yes, Ms.Carol it has effected me as well. I no longer go to events and festivals like I use to. I've heard two people get shot and killed in my neighborhood. One was right next to my home. I avoid even going out at night. We have a serious problem in this country and it's going to have to stop. There was a man that went on a shooting spree in my shopping area a few years back. He killed a number of innocent people as he drove through the shopping area. I thought my God that could of been me. I heard that gun violence is the number one killer of children. But yet it continues to happen over and over again. God help us. ππ»ππ»ππ»

That's a great idea setting up jobs and being flexible at what kind of work she does in order to keep the income flowing. She's got a great no build setup going on in her minivan. I love the attached tent idea. I'm seriously thinking about buying a tent room that is attached all around a SUV or minivan for me and my cats until I get the skoolie going. So we could do weekend trips or holiday trips and moochdock with family and friends or do a campsite. I've been checking them out. They appear to attach underneath and all the way around the back end of the vehicles. I might have to tweak it somehow to make it extra tight fitting for my kitties so they can't get out and get lost. I've had some unexpected medical expenses to deal with. So my skoolie build is going to take longer than expected. The attached tent will give us lots more room and we won't have to wait to travel. I have the travel itch bad Ms. Carol. I would love to see her new tent set up. It's a great option for creating more room for those of us who have minivans and SUV's. I believe they go for lest than or around $400.00. Thanks for sharing. Great video! πβ€ππ»

Gunner is a beautiful dog. It makes me sick and angry to think that he was once abused. I believe there's an angel who has been looking out for both Derec and Gunner and put the two of them together. Derec and Tanya are the cutest couple. Don't the just look like they were meant to be together as well. It must be that angel looking out for them all. Great video Ms.Carol. β€β€β€β€β€

I have a friend who has a beautiful high functioning autistic son. I've invited both of them to travel with me when I get my skoolie done. If they like it, homeschooling while we travel might be something we do with him as well. She's has taught him so much already at home by herself. And she gets him out around other children and people as often as she can. He will be going into kindergarten this fall. I believe this is a wonderful way to raise and teach your child/children. Good on her for choosing to do this for her daughter. I can't wait to see their skoolie home in the next video. Thanks for sharing Ms.Carol. πβ€ππ»

I love how she's extended her living space with beautiful outdoor garden areas/garden rooms. I imagine she really enjoys them. My art studio supplies and furniture would not fit in that shed. My friend Toby bought a shipping container to use for his art studio. I'm thinking of doing the same once I get a tiny home. Great video Ms.Carol. Thank you for sharing. β€β€β€

Definitely! I'm going to have to try to buy my own land to put a tiny home on. Don't know how easy that's going to be. I've heard about that tiny home community and was wondering how much the lot rent was. I consider $500 a month as high. Yes, I agree that it will just keep going up. I'm going to have to live as a Nomad for awhile just so I can save money for some land and a tiny home.

Great interview Ms.Carol. Sedena and her daughter are so well adjusted to their nomad life. And I think it's wonderful she is educating her while they travel. It's really cool how she has created a business for herself that she can take wherever she goes and does Door Dash too to pick-up some extra income. I need to check out the car seat heating pad myself. What a awesome idea. π β€ππ»

I'm pretty sure these people don't want us Nomads living in our vans with our open air kitchens parked next to these expensive RV's. This park is for snowbirds and wealthier Nomads. This RV 10 year rule is a way to discriminate and exclude people who don't have a lot of money at their disposal and live in their cars, vans... etc. π€

Great video van tour Ms. Carol. I love how creative she is and her use of things she already had such as her Grandmother's secretary. β€

Those are cute little sheds that can be turned into tiny homes. I want all my daily use and living things downstairs as well because of the arthritis in my knees and Fibromyalgia. You can really do quite a lot with those sheds. Thanks for sharing Ms.Carol. I love this series. Please feel free to show things like these sheds and other alternatives as often as you like. I like to keep my options open. This helps me consider what's out there. β€β€β€

Good Afternoon Ms.Carol. I'm so happy you were able to stay at the casino. I hope the rest of you trip goes well and I will see you later. β€

This is a cute little tiny home for a young person. I'm going to need a tiny home with all the rooms downstairs and some loft for storage only. I need a washer and dryer and a little bigger shower. I'm an average sized woman but I don't care to be cramped up in a tiny little space while I'm showering. I need room enough for my small shower stool so I can sit and scrub my feet and shave my legs. π I love to see what's out there and available. Thanks so much Ms.Carol for doing this series. I would love to see some sheds converted into tiny homes. πβ€ππ»

That is a beautiful little old mining town Ms.Carol. It's very charming. But I bet it's expensive to live there now. I would still love to visit. β€β€β€

Hey Jo, I know right! π I'm going to have to have my bedroom on on the first floor. My knees can't handle running up and down some stairs and my back can't handle being hunched over while upstairs either. It will all have to be downstairs for me too. π

I absolutely LOVE this shower Ms. Carol. I love that this shower wouldn't take up much room to store and it's so simple to put up. I would probably use a bigger PVC frame and glue 2 shower curtains together to use for myself. I hate it when the shower curtain sticks to me while I'm trying to wash. I like to have lots of room to move around. I'm definitely going to be making myself a shower like this only bigger. It's great to see Tim helping the ladies out and demonstrating how it all works while you narrate. You two make a fantastic instructional team. β€β€β€ππ»π

Great video Ms.Carol! I absolutely love this HOWA program and all it's volunteers. What a wonderful thing to do for fellow Nomads. And whomever made all those beautiful quilts did a lovely job. Giving those out to the recipients of the BYOV program was like the cherry on top. I applaud everyone involved in making it all happen in an effort to make their fellow Nomad's lives easier and more comfortable. ππΌππΌππΌ β€β€β€

Red is a beautiful woman inside and out. I believe it's great she's finding out what she wants and what she doesn't want. You really don't know what works until you try different things. If I learned something about life, it's that nothing is forever, change is everywhere around us, we're changing too and hopefully growing in a positive way as time passes. I thought this little house I've rented here would be a wonderful place to live. I'm over mowing this extra large yard. π This is a wonderful interview Ms.Carol and Red. Thank you both for sharing. πβ€ππ»

I have a friend who's also a veteran who was homeless living in his van here in Norfolk, Virginia. He got some kind of assistance I believe through the Veterans Administration for education and housing. I'm not certain the exact details but he said they were paying his rent here in Norfolk. Can this man call and them and see if him and his wife can get some kind of assistance through them that will help pay the rent. We also have subsidized housing for people who can't afford rent. They have to apply, qaulify and go on a waiting list. But they look like nice apartments. I don't know if they have anything like that in California. But they really need to if they don't. I think a social worker who knows what options are available to them might be able to help them also. I don't have any idea what kind of assistance they have available there in California.

That has to be scary to lose absolutely everything including your ID. My heart goes out to this couple and their children to have to be separated and then struggle just to get their basic needs met. I hope and pray they come out of this and can find work and get a home of their own for themselves and their children. Ms.Carol you have such a beautiful compassionate heart to help this couple like you did by buying them shelter so they have some place to stay and by getting their story out there and by being an advocate for homeless and nomadic people. It's tragic that this is still happening in our country at this day and age. But it's happening all across the US. Thank you for all you do in trying to make other less fortunate people's lives better in so may ways. β€β€β€

I know of an ODU engineering student who lives in her van while she goes to Old Dominion University. She doesn't have an expensive van like this one. She just picked up an older used van and converted it herself with money she's saved from working. Everything she's done she's done all on her own. I thought that was a smart way to save money and live while going to university.

I wonder how he bought and paid for this van and to have it built?

WOW That's different from what I'm use to eating. But it actually sounds and looks good. I'm going to look for that spice. I don't recall ever seeing it before. But maybe cause I wasn't looking for it. The Italian dressing with the apricot preserves sounds completely amazing. I love a kick. So I'm going to look for that spice. I love all the ingredients you put in there Ms.Carol. I bet it would taste even better the next day after all the flavors marry with each other. I'm all for salads and cold plates for meals in the summer time. Thanks for sharing Ms. Carol. πβ€ππ»

Wonderful Video Ms.Carol! I definitely want to work/volunteer as a camp host part of the year like she is doing. Her mural is beautiful. Thanks for sharing. π¦β€π¦

Barefoot in Cactus, my van build is going to be simple and probably janky because I'm building it myself. And I've never done a van build before or anything like it. I can't afford to pay someone to do it. And I want to do it myself. No doubt there will be people who won't like what I do either. Lots of people do no build van builds and are very happy and proud of their home on wheels. I find them more interesting because they do them with stuff that already exists which are repurposed in creative ways. I hope you hold your head high and tell those people that you are very happy with your home just the way it is. And that's the most important thing. π

I hope you have a safe and pleasant journey to the Gutted Event Ms.Carol. πβ€ππ» Taupey πββ¬

Hey Renea, it's so nice to see your beautiful face and connect it to your name now. Thank you, Ms.Carol and Renea for sharing. The shower is so cool and I love the clam. πβ€ππ»

This is absolutely horrible! It sounds like they're giving her the run around to try to hide what's really happened to both of the electric bikes. π€¨ I hope they make it right for her and she gets it altogether and in one piece. This is just unacceptable and highly suspicious. Thank you for bringing this to our attention Ms.Carol. My BFF had some difficulty receiving merchandise for her business from them over a year ago. She did receive the second order. But has no idea whatever happened and became of the first order. It was apparently delivered to the wrong address. Strange! I wonder how often this happens?

Β @gloriouslifeonwheels3621Β YESSS Exactly! We have a homeless camp here where I live in a small wooded area next to a city bus transfer station and shopping area. Homeless people come and go living there. But one man lives there all the time. Everyone knows his name, Richard. He washes windshields to earn money. He will also panhandle on the corner of the busy intersection. I give him a little money when I have it to give. He doesn't ask me for it. People say he's on drugs. But even drug addicts have to eat. I've seen him go buy food after I give him a little money. So I know he doesn't spend all his money on drugs like some say he does. I have some pallets to give him so he stays off the ground and doesn't get wet. He'll camp on a big concrete slab under a massive electric structure everytime it rains here. I can see him from my TV room window. He uses a tarp to create his shelter. It's so sad. π’
