I know of an ODU engineering student who lives in her van while she goes to Old Dominion University. She doesn't have an expensive van like this one. She just picked up an older used van and converted it herself with money she's saved from working. Everything she's done she's done all on her own. I thought that was a smart way to save money and live while going to university.

@gloriouslifeonwheels3621 No doubt he's an intelligent young man Ms.Carol. But vehicles depreciate when you drive them off the lot. I wonder how much he could make for renting it out and the cost of marketing it/advertising, maintenance, wear and tear and insurance plus monthly payments on his vehicle and where's he going to live while he rents it out? And then there are taxes on earned income which he could probably write off a lot with his expenses. Would it all be worthwhile financially. 🤔 Something like this is easier said than actually done. Hopefully there is a demand/market for something like this that big corporations haven't thought about yet. I wish him all the best in his endeavor.

@gloriouslifeonwheels3621 I didn't mention the legal part of operating a business, having a contract/agreement created for clients, etc. That's another expense besides having a business license and paying city taxes. There's a lot to consider.
