To be fair, the insurance adjuster could still find meaning and purpose by knowing that their job is one that performs a necessary function, and contributes to their ability to put food on the table and a roof over their head for themselves and their family. There are plenty of professions that aren't exactly glamorous yet serve a vital role in the continued operation of society.
