In the first place it never should have happened because you don't put a barrier at the end of the runway

That definitely sounds like a flock of ducks or geese 🦆

In a case like this you look for an open field

@DoubleMonoLR I don't think so they said the runway was only like 3,000 ft not 3 MI
1
@DoubleMonoLR what you said is not factual it wasn't 3 kilometers. Listen to the video again it wasn't even a mile
1
@DoubleMonoLR everything you said is not factual they didn't have enough runway that's why they ran into the retaining wall at the end of the runway

It sounds like pilot error in conjunction with the birds

I think ducks and geese travel South during the winter right pp probably coming from North Korea

I have a great idea airplanes could have parachutes installed in the tail like stopping dragsters
1
@mmmqua probably because of the engine thrust right 👍
1
@mmmqua I think it would work as long as the engines are turned off like I say it stops the space shuttle three parachutes are deployed on landing

@AZBCDE exactly pilot error
1
@AZBCDE recently in America we had a bird strike in New York City the pilot lost both engines and landed safely in the Hudson River not one casualty
1
@AZBCDE I agree I mean terrible fatal choice by the pilot

Did the flaps work what about the reverse thrusters?
