It is not the beginning of the end of WWII, it happened bc the end was in sight, did speed up the process of course, and the same boots are still on the same ground, WWII did not end then.

  3. the Normandie Day cannot be a festivity. It could only be a memorial to the victims, soldiers and french population, that died wrongly bc of the foolish /arrogant, life despising US grand arrival. The main thought being the denial of french voices in France(and London).
