  3. why barbaric in Ukraine? War is horrific , the fact of starting a war is horrifying. The warfare in Donbass for 7+years is somewhat barbaric.As the slow extermination in Gaza and Yemen atrociously barbaric, bc it is a thought through written intention, evil. The attack on Ukraine is not yet much more than a menace, fright and panic, bad enough. Wish it had not been, bc it was not unevitable. It is the same dilemna/game with sexual assault :women are always condemned (charged and..) if they attack a menacing person b e f o r e something really bad ever happened to them. Or with refugee status, how can you prove you are in danger, well yes if you are a corpse (That is actual policy, real discussion with immigration authorities...).
