  1. USmerica invaded illegally Syria, is still occupying parts of the country illegally and robbing it. URSS did not "invade" Afghanistan. If you use this 'talking point', it means you consider the horrible medieval warlord - still in place - fighting the leftist secular government modernising the country as for some reason legitimate authority. Afghan government asked help from URSS against CIA- backed muhajideens.
