@ElectronFieldPulse it's almost like when the world superpower illegally sanctions your agricultural nation that had to rebuild their entire infrastructure after the Nazis burned it down you tend to struggle economically. Not to mention internal CIA documents outright state the level of dictatorship in the Soviet Union was propaganda and the standard of living, wages, life expectancy, etc... all tanked after the Soviet Union was dissolved and Capitalists looted the country. It's funny how Capitalists refuse to acknowledge the most basic facts without defaulting to literal propaganda. Or just forgetting nations like Vietnam exist and are denoted as not only having high standards of living and levels of freedom, but expressly being Socialist. Or nations like Cuba which are illegally sanctioned and thus kept down despite the entire rest of the world agreeing what we do to them is atrocious. Or the fact that every single central or South American nation that collapsed did so because America staged a fucking revolution and overthrew their Democratic government to install a dictator. Because Capitalists love dictators as much as they say Socialists do. "Always accuse your opponent of what you yourself are doing"

Capitalists do not have an answer to automation. Socialism does. Capitalism is anti democracy. Socialism is Democracy at its core. Capitalism will always decay into Fascism and support Fascism. Socialism is the only thing that fights against it. But you won't read any of this anyway so whatever. If you want to remain in your anti-Communist 1950s pamphlet go ahead.

This is just a demonstrable fact, conservatives were running around with their hair on fire about it. But why should I expect a Capitalist to care about reality. You trade with imaginary money and trade on imaginary stock numbers. You'd rather imaginary line go up than help real people. Capitalism is the definition of a fantasy built on lies.

It's like watching an anchor around the neck of society every time someone like you participates in these discussions like you have literally anything meaningful to say. @ElectronFieldPulse Ah yes, the sorcery of "It will all work out bro, I promise!" Except when that didn't work out and people ended up enslaved to their employers, just like we predicted... And in case you haven't noticed the changes in the market aren't being adapted to the same as before. The jobs that appeared to replace the jobs we're losing are already being replaced again. Entire warehouses are being automated and entire retail stores and fast food restaurants are experiencing the same. Fold your last remaining brain cell over and rub it together for half a second of neural activity and you will see things are changing and the market is not adapting. Prove that the market will adapt. Market forces are not a science and have no actual basis in fact. If you want to compare it to nature, yes, nature adapts, after the mass death of countless life forms and new ones rise to take their place. Do you have anything intelligent to add? Anything to actually contribute beyond incredulous laughter as the Dunning-Krueger effect mantles what was once your brain?

You hear constantly that if you let everyone take things for free there's no incentive to work, but the fact of the matter is there's no actual science to back that up. In fact, when given enough money to live, most people choose to continue working, if they do quit, they return to school or take care of their kids. Socialism collapses because it's sanctioned by the United States, the economic juggernaut that it is, and because they are often isolated and subjected to color revolutions, paid for by America. The CIA has admitted to overthrowing democracies who voted in Communism consistently.
