I think about it this way...there are so many birth defects, miscarriages, etc that it is a miracle you exist at all. Think of life as a privilege, not a right, and your worldview will change.

Pretty much 100% genetics. We are currently clueless at what most of our genes do, but if we could "read" our DNA we could probably predict when and how you will die, if it is a natural cause.
