  1. All the major and most important life events, rites of passage, transitions, celebrations, and holidays are so expensive in the US! Almost everyone participates, so it's guaranteed money. Birth, college/training, wedding, rent/mortgage, moving, retirement, death, etc. Capitalism is a scam.
