  1. I think there's a difference between predicting the end of the world or the apocalypse vs. understanding that historically, all empires come to an end, and all economic systems come to an end or change drastically.

  2. This is well presented. It's cool to know that Ray Dalio looks so much at history. As a history teacher, I appreciate that. I like that he discusses social justice and the national/community economic benefits of inclusiveness and equal opportunities. Investing in the community yields the greatest returns. Thank you for discussing it as well. I would like to learn more about Dalio. I know about his all-weather portfolio, but that's about it. I'm reminded of a Peter Lynch quote about history that I saw on the PlantStock channel (another history teacher): "As I look back now, it's obvious that studying history and philosophy was much better preparation for the stock market than, say, studying statistics."
