@slipstream53 You're exaggerating how "problematic" it is. First, the projectile is of flechette type (or similar to it), which you should look up. It's a thin needle, giving it high cross-sectional density and low air resistance. Such projectiles are commonly used in large anti-tank shells but also have been successfully used in rifles and handguns. They excel at range, accuracy, and penetration. If it hits at the right angle, you can penetrate someone's skin by throwing a sewing needle correctly, so this much faster projectile could easily do it. Secondly, the toxin is literally injected by entering the skin. You do NOT need it to enter an artery or vein, because neurotoxins like these require extremely small quantities in your body to kill you. 5 micrograms/kg body weight (!) is all it takes if injected under the skin, so a few times that injected into the skin would definitely be lethal. The only problematic part I see is the "stealth" part of it, because it requires you to use the weapon as a regular gun, so not that stealthy.
