@dragon723. No, you can't ignore her ENTIRE income if she had not been married. Anyone with a good degree or PhD is very likely to get a job even after decades of not working, you'll just be entry-level. If she had a career, she sure would have earned much more, but not nothing. What you don't seem to understand is that wanting to eat the cake and have it at the same time is not possible. She cannot expect to get a huge dowry to compensate for her choosing a well paying carrier, as well as all other requirments, and at the same time except to have a functioning family while not staying at home. It might work sometimes but this is an unreasonable standard to have, and to think you are entitled and reasonable for having these standards is even more unreasonable and straight up dump.

@dragon723. No this is where you're wrong, and I have already explained it. She CANNOT expect that. This is the entire problem. She chooses a well paying carrier, which results in these expectations. The expectations are not inherently wrong, but rather, they are not realistic. Very few men have that kind of money and those that have won't go for a 30+ woman with very high expectations of looks/status/money etc and that does not want to stay home and take care of children, hence my comment of having and eating the cake at the same time. Not realistic. Like I said, some women might find a man that is fine with all that, but they are few and far apart. Hence, unrealistic expectations, even if they are justified.

Really dump video. It's not the CCP that tells men to want younger women or to prefer virgins, it's literally biology. There is nothing cultural about that and it is the same all around the world. Men do NOT care about your status/money/degrees except the shallow top 1% of men who worship money. Having unrealistic standards is not the government's or someone else's fault, it's just arrogance or perceived self-worth. Sure, the real estate market is tough, but it seems very few are willing to compromise, especially with location. It's always going to be insanely expensive in the middle of the city, so move out a bit maybe? You can't eat and have the cake at the same time.
