Skyllic according to islamic beliefs evil doesn't exist because of Adam, it doesn't exist against God’s will and it isn't God who created it. Before this life we were living (trying to describe the history shortly) and Satan, the devil, was like all of us but with some special powers. And he thought he could be God beside God. Some creatures thought that too, like us humans, we wanted to see. After some chanses to save ourselves like to let God forgive our arrogance, some didn't, including humans. So God created this universe, this planet like a place for us to see if the devil could be God. He made him a temporary "God" on earth, and as we see today we see this God's work, because the majority of humans follow him. It's easer to follow evil than to resist. And we can save ourselves if we want to. This is our last chance, and if we can't "come closer" to God, if we resist him, we will not be able to be near God or get anything from him. That is literally the hell.
But you belive in what you want to, just wanted to clarify some other belives.
Sorry for my bad english..

Scotty Peterson I follow what I want and know my religion.
Read this:
"Surely, those who believe, those who are Jewish,
the Christians, and the converts; anyone who
(1) believes in GOD, and
(2) believes in the Last Day, and
(3) leads a righteous life,
will receive their recompense from their Lord;
they have nothing to fear, nor will they grieve."
- Quran 2:62, 5:69
I don't say bible is false. It is a book of God, as well as the Torah. But as any religion, as any scipt from God, it has been corrupted. Just read the verses above, they are telling us what really matters.
The quran is the last of them, and it has literally a built in code stopping people from changing stuff in it. Read more at:
