Sh. Albani's books prophet's prayer gathers the 4 mathhab imams in saying that. After the Mutazilah Mihna Imam Ashar was raised mutazilah and later became more salafi it mixed the ideas of unity on the text with man made ideas.

Quran & sunna didn't reject ibn Abdul Wahab minus a few errors. He was only rejected by Sufi , shia grave worshipers. You can teach worship people but Islam teach worship Allah alone.   36. It's the opposite, salafis are most peaceful and shias are the scorned ones. Turkey in early 1900s was plagued by cultural tasawuf which lead to secularism. Jordan wanted to keep Arabic and rebelled with uk backing, but Jordan lost to Saudis who united Arabia on 1920s.
