Narrated Hudhaifa bin Al-Yaman:
The people used to ask Allah's Messenger (ﷺ peace and blessings be upon him) about the good but I used to ask about evil lest I should be overtaken by it. So I said, "O Allah's Messenger (ﷺ peace and blessings be upon him)! We were living in ignorance and in an (extremely) worst atmosphere, then Allah brought to us this good (Islam); will there be any evil after this good?" He said, "Yes."
(Mutzailah? - Prophet Muhammad peace and blessings on him said best generation is the first 3, avg. age is 60 - 70 year. 11h. + 70 x 3 = 220h. when the Mutazila Mihna took place, Imam ibn Hanbal lived through is why Ibn Kathir states his mathhab is strongest with the Sunna...)
I said, 'Will there be any good after that evil?" He replied, "Yes, but it will be tainted'' I asked, "What will be its taint?" He replied, "Some will guide others not according to my tradition? You will approve of some of their deeds and disapprove of others."

*I have not ceased to like Banu Tamim (tribe of bin Abdul Wahab?) ever since I heard of three qualities attributed to them by Allah's Messenger (ﷺ peace & blessings be on him) (He said): They, out of all my followers, will be the strongest opponent of Ad-Dajjal;* `Aisha had a abd-bint from them, and the Prophet (ﷺ peace & blessings be on him) told her to manumit her as she was from the descendants of (the Prophet) Ishmael; and, when their Zakat was brought, the Prophet (ﷺ peace and blessings be upon him) said, "This is the Zakat of my people."
Narrated by Abu hurairah!

Ibn Hajr al Asqalani said, This hadith clear mentions of excellence, and superiority of Bani Tameem." (fath 5/217)
Hadith of ikrama from one of the companions reported in the Musnad of Imam Ahmad, *"Do not say of Bani Tamim anything but good, for indeed they are the severest of people in attacking the Dajjaal." Al Haythamee says : its narrators are sahih." Mujma 10/48 chpt : What is reported on banu Tamim.*

Abu Ja’far, the 5th Shia Imam said: Abdullah Ibn Saba used to claim being a prophet and claimed that The commander of believers (i.e. Ali) is God. Allah is Higher than such claim. This news reached to The commander of believers (i.e. Ali), so he called him and questioned him. But he repeated his claims and said:
"You are Him (i.e. God), and it has been revealed to me that you are God and I am a prophet." So the commander of believers (i.e. Ali) said: "How dare you! Satan has made a mockery of you. Repent for what you said. May your mother weep at your death! Quit [your claim]." But he refused, so Ali imprisoned him and asked him three times to repent, but he didn’t. Thus he burnt him (i.e. his corpse after killing him[24] ) with fire and said: "Satan had taken him into his whim, he used to come to him and to induce these (thoughts) in him”.

Some knowledgeable people have stated that Abdullah bin Saba was a J*w who had accepted Islam and showed great devotion for Ali (peace be upon him). As a J*w, he used to exaggerate the personality of Joshua, the son of Nun, the Wasi of Moses. After becoming a Muslim, he began to say about the personality of Ali such this(peace be upon him) after the demise of Rasulullah (peace be upon him and his progeny), and he was the first person who manifested the saying of obligation of believing in the Imamate of Ali, and completely dissociated himself from his enemies and he openly opposed them and denounced them as infidels. So, it is in this light that those there were against the Shias said: The origins of Shi'ism and Rafdh are taken from J*d*ism.

This was revealed at Hajj, i think before Gadir Khum when there were much more people so Ali being leader doesn't logically make sense, but yea shi'a founder ibn saba made Ali a god ruler like figure against Islam but was from the zoroasters.
plus in Sunni & shi'a sources Ali said Abu Bakr is the leader, and even he told his son, Muhammad Hanafiyya, he was the best.
