  2. The “I’d rather vote for the 10 concentration camps over 30” is literally the sort of argument that Sam Harris makes - I agree it should be simple to follow, but for some reason when Sam Harris says it it’s different.

  8. I’ll do it for you: Abusive ad hominem argument (or direct ad hominem) is associated with an attack to the character of the person carrying an argument. This kind of argument, besides usually being fallacious, is also counterproductive, as a proper dialogue is hard to achieve after such an attack. i.e. you.

  9.  @jasonwilkinson66  You suck at language. Look at your own comment: « calling someone dumb with a comment that stupid » Even in this one reply you manage to get the subject wrong. I didn’t call you dumb. I said « miles are dumb. » You couldn’t even get that right. And yes, calling someone stupid is ad hominem. Tell your ESL teacher she needs to do better.
