You have a basic understanding of Jama. She said that 30 years prison sentence for being gay in Palestine was "appropriate in the Arab context" - not exactly the best advocate progressivism. Her time on the McMaster Student Union, and things she had said about the Jewish community is wild. I encourage you to do more research beyond her website. We can pretend for your ego, that she was removed exclusively for her statement.
