@J.-km8om it feels like you just said "well, it's gonna be hard to defend that she said it's fine to jail gay people, so let's distract with this completely unrelated thing." She was a privileged member of parliament. She got more time to say what she wanted to say than most Canadians.

@mikkixi1334 another hatchet job comment made to confuse the situation. Any country who kills or jails gay people is abhorrent and anyone trying to dogwhistle or pretend away the facts are complicit.
