  1. He should release the conversation if he thinks he's right. When I was a teenager, I had several South Park comedy type of convo with adults and it never felt inappropriate. The context of his conversations with the minor matter. "Lean in the direction of being inappropriate" is a huge red flag.

  5. No, they deserve to be called out. The amount of water carrying for CDPR during the launch was disgusting. Who knows how many Christmas presents they turned into refund side quests. It is fraud. Just because you fell in love with Witcher isn’t an excuse to just fall to your knees for everything in the future. I love Nintendo, but I would never defend amiibo festival or some other garbage.

It's mostly because of two reasons: 1) the Redmond office has never had anything better to do than marketing and legal - Howard Lincoln was a lawyer before becoming president; 2) survivor bias from the video game crash. Being litigious - even with their own vendors - saved the brand from becoming over saturated at a time when over saturation was a death sentence in their industry. I'm not excusing anything, but this is how we get here.

  29.  @theripper121  Starting with an insult isn't exactly the scholarly thing, either. You don't have to around too long to know this is not true. We literally have the Depp vs Heard trial that wasn't even that long ago and both of them released stuff. I know because I watched the judge get active over it. If he's in the wrong, releasing the conversation would just make Amazon look good, so they aren't going to fight it in that case.
