As a developer, I can't tell you how many times junior developers enter conversations like "I could build this in a day" only to find out they didn't fully understand the entirety of the project. So you're telling me you could create a custom payment system, a moderation system, a content management system used by thousands of people, set up the server and distribution infrastructure - in a day? Okay. Twitter was famously "built on a weekend", but the untold story is that the core infrastructure that they "built on a weekend" is still in use in parts of the platform, causing bottlenecks and constant frustration for the developers at Twitter. Not what I'd call a win.
