In Vedic culture (ancient version of Hinduism), the "swastika" represents the four directions (North/South/East/West), and also the 4 heads of Lord Brahma, the god of creation. Also: Our ancient Heathen ancestors did not have 4 seasons. They had two, as recorded in the Eddas and sagas. Their lunisolar calendar went by Winter and Summer only. Spring and Fall are modern additions and not native to our Germanic culture. Check out Robert Sass' vids on the ancient Heathen calendar. @audhumbla6927 Norse=Germanic, and vice versa. We are all One People. But I get your point. The Black Sun created by the Nazis was not known to our Heathen ancestors. However, there were many similar sun wheels that look very similar to the Black Sun that our ancestors did indeed create. I did research on this because in my "woke" beginning as a Heathen, I thought all "Black Suns" were racist and Nazi. I later learned there are plenty of archaeological "Black Suns" from thousands of years ago. There are none found yet that have the 12-spoked wheel, but there are many with 8 or 10 (or other numbers) spokes.

@audhumbla6927 I haven't seen a Nazi black sun in the records, so that was clearly a new creation. But there are very similar black suns with different numbers of spokes that look very much like the Nazi black sun. And you're wrong, not "everyone knows." Many don't realize the Norse are Germanic and vice versa. We are all brothers and one tribe. People try to separate us and our culture/religion. Sounds like you just don't like being corrected or called out. That's a you problem.

The Wheel of the Year? Do you mean the modern Wiccan calendar that has zero connection to Germanic/Nordic Heathenry? Also, Yule was never on the Solstice. It is on the first full moon after the first new moon after the Solstice, which puts it always in Jan/Feb and never on the solar date of Dec 21st. Our Heathen ancestors went by the lunar calendar. Modern Wiccans and Christians use a mostly solar calendar with fixed dates. This would be foreign to our Heathen ancestors per the sagas and Eddas. @Marvinuser We are Heathen because our ancestors worshipped outdoors in the "heath" or sacred grove. Pagan comes from pagani, which is not even our tribe/culture. It is Roman/Greek. At least Heathen is Germanic/Nordic and would've been a term our ancestors recognized. But you are correct, in modern days the Christians call everyone pagan or heathen interchangeably as they mean the same thing to them, not us.

The Finns probably spoke in Finnish. The Germanic peoples/tribes ( who are also known as Nordic) did not. The Finns are not Germanic/Nordic. We are two separate peoples going back thousands of years, just like the Celts are a separate tribe more related to the Italics and Helens than the Germanic/Nordic peoples.

@Arhii The Nordic peoples and Germanic peoples are genetically the same basically. Rome did not do this. Rome just named them and their lands. People from modern day Germany moved into Scandinavia, and with the little ice age, they returned south for a bit until it warmed up again. Sure, there was some mixing with the neighboring peoples, but there is still enough separation to see the dividing lines between the various cultures/tribes. From what I've read, the Finnic tribes were never Germanic, same as the Balts and Slavs.

@trentenswett6306 And Native Americans are Asian peoples. But yes, the Vedic/Hindu culture is the oldest religious culture still in practice today. I was a Hindu monk for 12 years. So glad to be back home as a Germanic Heathen of Europe now.

@corymoon2439 And the Native Americans had it, as mentioned, and they have zero connection to anything Indo-European. They are Asians. Just like the swastika, these symbols were drawn by many tribes all over the ancient Earth who had zero connection to one another.
