Jackson Crawford is a solid source as long as we remind ourselves that he is not a Heathen and he does not believe in any of these myths or pieces of our spiritual culture that he claims to be an "expert" on. That should be a red flag to NOT take him as seriously as many seem to do. This is all fantasy religion in his mind. Our Germanic and Nordic ancestors believed in these "myths" and "gods" and to them, it was all very real. It should also be very real to those of us practicing Heathens today. To take advice from people who believe you are lost or "going to hell" for being pagan/heathen is fine as long as we remember they think we are fools. Just sayin'!

@nosotrosloslobosestamosreg4115 I was a practicing Hindu/Vaishnava monk for 12 years. I remember in our teachings from the Vedas we were told that the Aryans were lighter skinned people from the other side of the mountains in Northern India. They were a people who came into India born-enlightened. They brought an advanced culture to the people of India. They were a very mystical people and the Hindus were proud to have them influence their own culture. As for Indians being warriors like many are commenting, I knew a lot of Indian Hindus and as an American retired military veteran, I would not say many of them were of the warrior mindset or physical stature or even what we call "alpha males." They were very friendly and humble, but not warriors at all.

@jeanninemiller6584 Remember that the people we call Native Americans are Asians who crossed the land bridge or sailed here. The myths they bring with them certainly changed over time, but they would be connected to Europe, Africa, and the Middle East based on the trading/raiding contacts Asians had with those other tribes. Many seem to think Native Americans are some special people who originated in the Americas. There were no humans who originated in the Americas. All of us came from the Old World to the New World at some point in time. As far as I know, no other species of human skeleton has ever been found in the Americas. The earliest settlers came from the Pacific Islands and Siberia, until the Vikings came to Canada via Iceland and Greenland.
