Though these are isolated accurences, not true of most, (sects, are very singular organizations) Confucianism, your completely and utterly mistaken, North Korea takes nothing from it, it has no links to Totalitarianism. Confucianism preaches for the rule of law, and for the difussion of power, and what you say of Taoism is nothing more than a western bias, which i see no evidence for...

I would not generalize the judgement of religion to include Hindu's, Buddhists, Confucists, Sikhs, Jains, and Taoist with equal regard to Abrahamic religions (christianity/Islam/Judaism) and by extention, Mormonism and Scientology, which are, through their deeds and teachings destructive far beyond the measure of many eastern religions.

If the definition of Christianity (the key word being "Christ) is adherence to the teachings and ideas of Jesus as presented in the bible, then yes, that constitutes religion...

  12. Theres only so much ignorance a man can endure before he has to set the record straight. I dont sympathize with belief in the supernatural, but there are many "religous" ideologies (or ideologies that are simply labeled as such) which get grouped in as the "bad guys" when really they did nothing wrong, and that sort of victimization is wrong. That is all i was trying to say, sheesh...
