China didn't bomb its opponents because it wasn't capable of it because it was more complicated than an ox-driven plow. The AK-47 was perfect for the Red Guards and the Red Army. It required almost no cleaning or repair, so it was ideal for the average peasant who used flush toilets as a high-tech rice bowl washer!
