My 3 year old niece was doing this at dinner to.. is she a genius?

It's easier to fool people than to convince them that they have been fooled.” Mark Twain

Joe Rogan defends Musk by saying he doesn't do the things psychopaths do..... while in the same sentence calling Musk a psychopath/genius. Rogan doesn't understand his own paradox. For those who don't know, a psychopath is basically a person who has zero remorse and only does things they can benefit from, they don't care about other people.

I never understood why people bought a tesla in the first place. They are terrible cars always ranking lowest in build quality.
57
If that robotaxi is going to make a consumer millions why would tesla sell them in the first place. Why doesnt tesla keep the robotaxi for themselfs and operate a Fleet of them. Makes no sense
45
6:31 Lol at Munro. Musk hasn't build a Rocketship to Mars, and he didn't make electrification, he just got government money to do that, and the cybertruck is a flop.
37
@qp9vp To classify as a lorry it has to be over a certain length and the wheelbase/axels have to be a certain way, lorry's also have a legal restricted speed limit of 100 km/h. and they cannot carry more than 3 people. So no per definition it cannot be classified as a lorry. Also if it was u will have to get a lorry license to drive it.
30
Yeah seems like a huge waste of government money
29
Soooo... Volvo invented the seatbelt.. and Ford invented the the airbag.
29
The funny thing is, Musk is rich only on paper.
21
I guess Leavitt is the Magda Goebbels of our time. A staunch proponent and advocate of her idol and leader.
16
@lightphotons-789 Paypal is not owned by Musk, nor did Musk found or invented Paypal.
14
@duncanbuchanan218 Last year Musk fired 20% of the Tesla staff. And space X is a coming and going of personnel. They mostly employ young college kids who work there for a year or 2 and then leave.
13
Its real simple, SpaceX got the contract for HLS (human landing system) which is part of Artemis. This 3 billion (now 4) contract was awarded to SpaceX almost single handedly by Nasa employee Kathy Lueders. She did this in the interim while NASA was looking for a new administrator. a few months after awarding this contract Kathy Lueders went to work for..... SPACEX. Now after 5 years spaceX collected almost all the contract money and they delivered none of the functioning hardware as per the contract. The government accountability office was doing a audit of this contract, with musk in the Whitehouse i'am sure this will be closed down.
7
I agree and why would tesla sell them in the first place? Tesla would be better off operating these themselfs.
6
There was no reason to launch a (very expensive) ''rescue'' mission because the astronauts could simply hitch a ride back on the next mission in rotation. This Dragon capsule (crew-9) launched and docked to the ISS last September. It is utter nonsense to say they were left stranded up there.
6
I'am not a Tesla fan but using adhesives to bond car parts together is actually quite normal. The difference is normal car company's do it in a way the parts don't fall off
6
Just remember the only time Musk was CEO of a company he didn't own he was fired within 6 months.
5
That car is not fully autonomous it is driving a pre planned pre programmed route on a closed private road. Letting something drive, fly, or sail pre programmed has been done since the 50's. These fanboys cheer on anything.

When it comes to the Mars stuff. Most of what he is proposing isn't even technical possible. All the CGI renderings of living on the surface for instance, many scientists have pointed out u cant live on the surface of Mars because of the radiation. Also traveling to Mars and the psychological effects of the extreme isolation have been studied by NASA and ESA for many decades now. They simulated a trip to mars by putting a group of 6 in isolation for 18 months. This the longest test they ever did and It was a disaster, and these were trained astronauts and scientists. Musk is proposing sending groups of a 100 random civilians a year to go live on mars permanently. It is utter nonsense. Besides any reasonable person would argue u should go and try to colonize the moon first just to refine your engineering and test everything out. SpaceX has no plans for this.
3
Because Tesla is the toilet Musk knows he needs to start pumping the stock around one of his other company's. This is why he is now very actively pushing the whole going to Mars idea again. I wouldn't be surprised if in the coming months Trump signs a executive order for NASA to land humans on Mars, this is even more obvious when u consider Trump appointed one of Musk's billionaire friends as the new NASA administrator. In the end this whole going to Mars endeavor would only benefit Musk financially because of course SpaceX will get the contract to develop and make the tech.
3
7:51 what a blatant lie! These astronauts where not in any danger and didn't need to be saved, They were simply returning on the next capsule in rotation this was planned as a contingency before they even launched. Musk and space X also did not invent rockets, especially Musk did not invent anything. Also the Tesla robot optimus is glorified animatronics. This exists since the 1960's
2
Just because people have jobs doesn't mean you tax dollar should pay for it... This applies to almost the whole of SpaceX and especially the Starship and HLS program.
2
1:20 kinda funny how they use a wood saw, wood oscillating saw, a propane torch which isn't even hot enough to melt steel, a flat blade screwdriver etc to show how ''tough'' the vehicle is, these tools impact minimal damage. And what is the point exactly of this demonstration? When i buy a car i'am not looking to buy one that is ''screwdriver' resistant. It is completely pointless to build a vehicle like this. U can clearly see these people testing this are complete idiots.
2
But but.. Elon knows more about manufacturing than anybody else currently alive..
2
Chris jus a bit of advice, stick to American politics and Musk. The northern European country's have serious immigration problems. This to the effect that most Americans or other country's don't understand.
2
I wonder what Jason Isaacs is doing at the white house considering he described Trump as a "vainglorious man".
2
It is interesting how Musk tries to explain away the protesters as just being organized and payed for by the democrats. Even if this was the case ( which it is not) it still doesn't compute with fact that Tesla sales are dropping not only in the US but all over the world. Musk just doesn't want to face the fact the people dislike him.
1
@GizelleQuant To be fair Goebbels was a brilliant orator and speaker who could captivate a audience. This dude is not and is slimey and doesn't even look people in the eye.
1
Many scientists have pointed out u can't really' terraform mars to be habitable. Mars has no molten core so no magnetic field, cosmic rays, solar flares would continually kill most life on the surface.
1
@ollievendor7413 Maybe she watched to many Musk video's and his super genius rubbed of on her.
1
When it comes to the Mars stuff and trying to launch a starship to Mars. What Musk is claiming now is way off from where their development is right now. It is just not going to happen.
1
Yes and the Canadians reply was oh sorry eh
1
@mickadamow8361 The weight is the obvious one. i was more pinpointing that per the definition stated in my country's vehicle laws it can never be registered as a lorry because it doesn't fit the description/definition. In short the Cybertruck will never be allowed on our roads.
1
@livinghypocrite5289 In the country i live nobody privately buys a tesla everybody leases one via their work because it has huge green tax benefits. Nobody in their right mind would drop a 100k on a truck u cant even use as a work truck and u cant park it anywhere because it is way to big.
1
@louislafontaine5984 I agree but these MAGA people don't doubt Musk.
1
@StoriesFromEarth-n8h Elon Musk is only working on the betterment of his own pocket and ego. And the whole reaching for the stars argument is ridiculous. Man walked on the moon before Musk was even born. The only reason spaceX still exists is because of all the government money it gets. And even then Space X is still price gouging the US taxpayer with every launch.
1
Its about 300 mil per flight
1
Joe Rogan is such a idiot not seeing or wanting to see Musk is the biggest pump and dump schemer
1
@SamehKhan Munro became a full-blown Tesla influencer in the past 5 years. He realized if u make Tesla video's u get more clicks and thus more ad revenue on his YouTube channels. it is clear now he chose to keep pushing the Tessa hype, even though the brand is tanking not only in reputation but also in technology.
1
The robo-taxi rollout planned for Austin TX is rumored to be a basic Model Y with a behind the scenes operator.
1
Elon Musk is a dumb persons idea of a genius.
1
Musk is only rich on paper.
1
Fun fact, Musk doesn't actually make money from his space endeavors. SpaceX is strung together with government funding / contracts and money of venture capitalists. It is just one of Musk's hype machines.
1
The US government is going to buy Elon's products. according to him the best product for the money.
1
Nobody is landing on Mars for at least 15 years or more. The tech isn't there to sustain people for that long and that far away. Let alone launching and refueling in orbit a starship.
1
Their price goes up our price goes up, its simple economics.
1
"This is why we do testflights" New Glenn worked on the first try so did SLS. So did the Saturn 1 and the Saturn V this was in the 60s.
1
@Nebulous0001 well i could write a response to your comment but it is perfect in its own right. Like kicking yourself in the face.
1
This add reminds me of spaceX's dear moon mission which was also advertised like this with big fanfare. it was supposed to fly in 2023, the mission has since been canceled.
