  1. To say that there was no regulation in place to to prevent this is not true. Ocean-gate went above and beyond to go around the regulations by registering the Sub in the kayman's and calling the tourists onboard ''mission specialists''. It is not allowed to do tourist dives in a sub that is not classed.

  2.  @solareclipsetimer  Like i said Ocean gate purposely went around all the rules and regulations. The customers/tourists dubbed as mission specialists even had to pay they 250k fee as a donation the oceangate FOUNDATION which was a non-profit.

  4. Like Patrick Lahey pointed out a cf hull submarine isnt a new idea. U just have spend money and tine to test, certify and class it. Ocean-gate went for the cheap route.
