  2. At one point I had a community of 20+ at varying ages. They' caused mayhem when let out to roam the living room. I gave it up due to having at least one death per month after they live a couple of years. It was always fun adding new youngsters, but the constant deaths and caring for the old sick ratties wore me down eventually. Shout out to anybody who remembers alt.pets.rodents
