@cmain3931 I an Officer myself, I always told parents to call the Police Department and request an Officer come watch as they discipline their kids. That way no accusations of child abuse can be made by the child. Officer would much rather get that kind of call instead of the usual "I need Police because my child will not do what I say". Police hate getting that call. Parents today make the mistake of being "friends" to their kids instead of being parents to their kids.

She is so intoxicated on something. I observed lack of smooth pursuit in both eyes, I saw distinct and sustained nystagmus in right eye (when looking left), nystagmus prior to 45 degrees in right eye and vertical nystagmus in right eye (I couldnt see the left eye because his flashlight was not illuminating it, except when he was testing for equal tracking and lack of smooth pursuit. You ever get vertical nystagmus in a person and they are truly messed up. You dont get vertical nystagmus in very many DWI's. When you see vertical nystagmus, it means they are highly intoxicated on some kind of substance. Vertical nystagmus most commonly means drugs are involved and given that she didnt loose her balance while doing HGN, I put my money on some type of drug being ingested because if she was so intoxicated on alcohol to have vertical nystagmus, I don't think she would be able to stand for very long. She is so intoxicated, she has no comprehension of what she's done. That's very sad. What's even more sad is it happened in Illinois. I say this because some areas of Illinois are horrible when it comes to prosecuting criminals. This is a felony offense. If there is a liberal district attorney in the county where this happened, I could see her getting off with probation. Illinois is run by liberals.
