This list got #1 correct. Bela Lugosi's portrayal of Count Dracula is by far the most iconic of all. Bela's portrayal had such an affect on me, while most 4 year boys in 1976 were clowns, cowboys and ghosts for Halloween, I was Dracula. A few years after seeing Bela's 1931 version of Dracula; I read Bram Stoker's entire novel as a 7 year old. Of course I needed my mom for a dictionary to give definitions of words I didn't know. My second favorite movie vampire is Brad Pitt's portrayal of Louis de Pointe du Lac. I'm disappointed Louie did not make the list. I think Brad's "Louie" was far better than Tom's "Lestat" or Kirsten's "Claudia". Of course, I was Louie for Halloween several times during the 90's. Being in a metal band in the 80's & 90's, I had the hair for the character.

Savatage was an amazing power metal band! While Criss Oliva was great, this list also didnt mention Alex Skolnik either. I wish Savatage would put out another album before Jon Oliva isnt able to sing and tour. They have made their money with TSO, now. Give us some more 'Tage!

I met him once after a show and he was cool. He had no problem signing autographs and standing outside his tour bus talking. He was out there for quite some time. I think the PANTERA video where they were badgering him about doughnuts gave him a bad rap.

Mike Varney had some great guitarists on his label..

While these kinds of lists are very subjective, this list is a bit of a joke putting #5 Buckethead and #4 Michael Angelo Batio over any of the guitarists 6-10. Batio is an incredible talent, but he has always been more of a gimmicky player. There's no feel in his solos or his music for that matter. Buckethead doesnt even deserve to be in the same list as any of the other guitarists here. To put him ahead of Friedman, Gilbert, Becker, Satriani and Petrucci is laughable at best. While I do like Yngwie, I dont see him being #1. Like others have said, how do you leave out Randy Rhoads, Dimebag and Nuno Bettencourt? A side note: How could you mention the movies Vai has done and not mention Crossroads. That was the best movie he has ever done IMO.

He was on the list.

The order of this "Top 10" was so far off! You are telling me a band, who had two "Diamond" albums (which none of the other bands had) and sold more albums than any other band on the list is #3? That's laughable.

They mentioned him, just didnt put him in the list.
