The pride flag represents sin, IMO. Pride itself is a sin so they could not have picked a better name for it. With that being said, I watched a video that Dallas, the producer, made where he explained how it came about. The flag that was flown wasnt there as a representative of The Chosen. I saw some silly comments below throwing their own spin on things. The Chosen, as a company, was not celebrating anything. They are a for profit company. They are not a ministry or church of any kind. As with any company, the beliefs of their employees do not reflect the beliefs of the company, itself. The equipment it was attached to belonged to an independent contractor, who works on the show. Had I been in charge, it would have never been there in the first place. I would not allow anything that would be divisive. That video never should have made it past the video editor's desk. I was glad to hear Dallas say he did not agree with, nor support the alphabet community, but I would not have let anyone display something like that, even if it was on their personal property. If they did not agree with me, they would be free to look elsewhere for employment.
If you look at it from a completely different perspective; is it possible God put that independent contractor in that position to expose him/her to the story of Jesus in order to save them? Everything happens for a reason and its all part of God's plan. Jesus said he was not sent to call the righteous, but the sinner.
Am I going to stop watching The Chosen? Absolutely not. Why would I allow the sinful beliefs or lifestyle of one person dictate whether or not I continue to follow a show about Jesus Christ? To think people would stop watching the show because of one person is laughable. If that is the case, then you let satan drive you away. He would love to know he did that.
