  6. It's not a loop. Russia doesn't like EU since EU countries have defensive pact. Russia wants to use Ukraine as a puppet state, which is why it's instrumental that Ukraine is not allied with any country willing to fight against Russia if Russia would invade. This is why Russia is scared of EU and NATO. Since both would give much needed security for Ukraine to ignore Russian threats of war. Russia has been threatening and agitating long before Ukraine even considered joining NATO. It has done the same with other countries next to it as well. NATO is defensive alliance and NATO wouldn't be as crazy as start to invade Russia due to the fact that Russia would just nuke the planet (they are known to be sore losers who love scorched earth tactic). Simply put.. If ukraine doesn't join EU or NATO, then Russia will just use it as a puppet state like it was before.

  7. All of this is laughable. China doesn't respect other countries soveirinity as seen with Taiwan and other regions of china that wishes to be independent. Nor does it care about human rights. While NATO and Ukraine won't posess any threat to safety of Russia. Nato haven't attacked Russia and is purely defensive alliance. There won't be direct war ever due to the nuclear weapons.

  9.  @marcinwilk860  They are NATO bases, not US bases. They host NATO forces. And they accept it because it's better for security if Russia tries to invade. It increases the response time and slows down the impending invasion. But you're correct with Russian imperialism.
