I grant that Singapore is Facist nation, or at very last dictatorship. But the dictator at least had strong principles and had largerly hands off attitude when it comes to business. Mostly strict only on rules such as public behavior. Hong kong is good example because it actually was independent in terms of economy. There is no society on this planet where left wing has brought up economic miracle.
