Lol, TyT are praising guy who did worship castro. You know... The guy who killed gays and hated black people, while oppressed his own people and delivered them into poverty.. Not to mention Corbyn is flat out communists, he even admitted it in his meetings. You know the same ideology that has more blood in it's hands than national socialism XD.

Classical liberals aren't communists like Corbyn is.

+rocketwolfproduction He is, he even stated that he is in one of the meetings he were. He is simply shy about in in public interviews.

+kim Stockton Do I need to name? Is it relevant? Communism has always lead into disastrous results and tyrannical governments. I know that people hate nazies... But communists were literally worst than them. "Democratic Communism/socialism is different than Authoritarian Communism/socialism." No it isn't, since it relies on authority. It's run by people who wishes to control over others. You simply vote in it. Also, soviets used to be democratic socialists just like Nazi germany used to be as well. It's the very nature of communism/socialism to turn into fucked up. Because it doesn't work. Power is too centralized hence easy to hijack by anyone who is ambitious enough.

+kim socton You do realize that whole concept of communism is in opposite spectrum of liberal? Communism stands against individuality, against liberty. "you realize the UK's Energy supply and rail services are owned and operated by the french and german governments, Is this better than having our own government run It? " Now you're talking about socialism. In fact national socialism to be precise. You just went from communist to nazi :D. Don't worry I know that you aren't either but still find it funny. "I'm all for freemarkets but not when those free markets allow foreign governments to buy up significant parts of our infrastructure." Well you can make it laws that only privatize it to the people who are citizens of your country. No need to be communist or socialists.

+Stnstrt and Uberping. Communism is political ideology/system about classless and stateless system where all means of production and property are all owned by the community/government. In essence they abolish private property. Socialism has only means of productions and decides how to distribute goods, but private property and state still exists. Corbyn has said by himself that he is marxists, and marxism is communism. Corbyn had been openly talking in events where communists were gathering, holding their communist symbols and pictures of Lenin while glorifying their murderous actions. Not only that, but he even took communist apoligists under his wings. Guy who thinks that north korea is cool thing to have.

+kim Stockton You don't know who is extreme dictator until they get into power. Socialism/communism has always produced extreme dictators. Corbyn without any doubt, would act like lenin if he had all the power.

+uberping I didn't look it up, I have known that for years. Public policies are irrelevant when compared to actions. Anyone who has even half a brain is capable to realize that no politician is capable to fulfill everything they wish, hence they start from mild changes. This is unless they magically acquire power of dictator. Corbyn was in extreme left rally which was filled with communists. Not only but he has openly stated that he is marxists. All of these point out that he is communists. Not only that, but he also have taken communist apologists under his wing. Guy who without shame thinks that North Korea is cool thing to have. He had also praised Karl Marx as great economist and as great thinker... Only communists would make such ignorant statement. Heck he even supported Cuban revolution. Why would one support is unless they were communists? And he is even supported by communists. His policies are socialists, and even if you bitch about "but he is not communist" his policies are still devastating to the economy and harmful to the people, as we have seen in multiple examples. Socialism is also comparable to nazies. In fact... Nazies were socialists. So... Also I repeat. Corbyn has identified himself as marxist, that is set of communism. There is video footage of this, google it up.

+kim stockton as explained before socialism/communism is anti-thesis for being liberal in classical sense. Both rely on force and collectivism while taking away people's freedom to live their life like they want.

+kim stockton Well your definition isn't seen that way by the dictionaries and most people. You are describing open mindness and tolerance, not what liberal is about. Liberal is about exactly what is sounds like. ABOUT LIBERTY. "also I'd criticise capitalism for relying on force and authority too. " Capitalistic society is based on consent and co-operation with mutual benefits. There is no force in it nor authority. "also I don't like these lables you keep using" I'm using words that have well known definition, you are misusing those words. That is because there is certain positive or negative stigma in some of them. You clearly didn't take you time to even study liberalism. judging by this, you simply took the label because it seemed to be the cool thing to do in environment where you are in. Also, I'm treating people like individual, but we are now talking about DEFINITION OF A WORD. Cat is a cat, regardless how much you want to label yourself as one.

+kim stockton It's not semantics when you're claiming to be something that by definition you aren't. You aren't classical liberal in any sense. "No, capitalism requires the enforcement of property rights by governing authorities." Not really even that. Rights are taken, no given. And you still haven't proven that capitalism is about forcing people.
1
+kim stockton, because when you keep miss labeling yourself, you are causing confusion and also undermine the people who carry the label according to it's definition. " You guys still haven't really adressed why having the UK railways owned by the german/french government is better than having it owned by the UK government" Government monopoly. You don't see anything wrong with it? This has been already tried in the past and failed. Take into notice railway history in USA where government owned railways were disasters. "when a squatter is evicted by a police officer is that not use of force?" You're trying to equalize systems here. One system which you support where government by FORCE prevents anyone from owning any property, steals by force from people. To system where force is used only when someone breaks the contract that he had made in consent with another person. You are dishonest person. Simply put, in capitalism only thing you are forced to do, is to respect freedom of other people and their property, and the contracts you make with them.
