Felix T-Rex False, Finland has biggest gun death ratio and Finland has strict gun control laws. Stop spewing bullshit that can be easily countered with fast fact checks.
1
Felix T-Rex I live in Finland, WE HAVE STRICT GUN LAWS. Second not that many guns. Not only this but you simply look at "most gun deaths" without actually looking how many deaths happen.
1
Felix T-Rex And we also have low crime rate. 16 firearms per capita and only 3 deaths by guns. Wow.... Get rekt.
1
Felix T-Rex And still the fact that we had in year 2013 only 3 gun deaths contradict your reasoning. Guns aren't causing violence.
1
Felix T-Rex Finland has high gun death rate when compared to many countries, however what you fail to take into account that the actual NUMBER OF DEATHS is low. Got it now? RATE doesn't mean high count. Sad that you're not smart enough to figure that one out. Oh yeah and over half of those deaths in Finland, WERE SUICIDES.
1
Felix T-Rex yes 3 deaths and 2 of them were suicides. OMG LET'S BLAME GUNS FOR EVERYTHING!!! BAN THEM NAOW!
1
kpop is life Western countries are only countries in whole world which has anti racist laws. Were least racists people on this planet.
1
***** I bet you don't even know what Finland is.
1
***** No problem. I got came off with wrong foot. But I don't think it's good idea to avoid saying something simply because it might insult or "hurt" them. Sheltering people from stuff like this won't make things better. In fact it makes it worse. You can only grow thicker skin by experiencing the world as it's instead of being treated like a child.

sinjis75 Free will has been proven to be false times ago.
1
writerconsidered Creativity is different form intelligence as far as I know, and inventions are because of creativity in most cases.
1
Jordan Kimball Not really, determinism goes against whole notion of free will. The idea of free will did began from religions where it was used to describe difference of living and non-living. For example trees didn't have free will but dogs did. Because they were able to move.
1
"no even in a deterministic universe we still have free will because we can see consequences. they are very compatible " You have very weird definition of a free will in that case.
1
Jordan Kimball Go over my head? You are clearly underestimating me. To be frank I wouldn't be surprised if stupid stuff like this actually make you feel confused since you are one of those idiots who believes in free will even though it's physically impossible. Or are you seriously suggesting that you have this magical power to suddenly alter your brain chemistry and activity with something magical element called as soul?
1
Jordan Kimball Most people used to thought that world is flat? Now tell me is the world flat because of that? I do have studied philosophy and I happen to know logical fallacies when I see one. Most philosophers actually happens to love those. The fact that you think that free will can exists in deterministic universe alone tells that you have weird definition of free will. Which I pointed out before. You still haven't proven how you have this magical ability to go against laws of nature itself. Also I have watched daniel dennett. He is load of crap when it came to this subject, now how about you defend your idea instead of trying to get rid of me by putting burden on me or to other person. So you have already provided two logical fallacies in here. Argument from popularity and argument from authority. You might learn things or two by actually thinking instead of just absorbing information brainlessly.

+Ridghost This isn't only propaganda video that has come out from here. I remember when TEDtalk actually was about substance instead of political propaganda.
1
Ridghost "It's a show dedicated to people standing up and talking about their personal opinions on topics and sharing their ideas" Oh please... Current trend is to be SJW. It doesn't take any guts to stand up and speak SJW propaganda in west. If these people had any balls they would go to middle-east and then speak there about these issue. In west it actually takes more balls to go against this trend. Trump is pretty good example how media will try to destroy someone if they do so.
1
Ridghost "Going against the trend for the sake of it, is called being a hipster, and that is no better than the SJW's." Never mentioned anything about being hipster. Simply said that this took no courage at all and literally provided nothing new. All he did was to beg for attention and claps.
1
Ridghost Problem is not gun violence, but violence. It's simply term regressives use to try to make it look like different case. Violence won't disappear by removing guns. "Why does it need to be the next martin luther king speech to mean something?" Strawman, never even implied such thing. That time in tedtalk could've been used to talk less known things in public. Than a narcissist's abusing current trend.
1
Ridghost "Violence, rather than guns? I'm sorry, but none of this argument makes any logical sense." So you think all violence is caused by guns? Wow.. didn't think I were dealing with person who is that naive. "I was debating the fact that a TedTalker is allowed to debate and talk about whatever idea and opinion they think is worth spreading. " I never denied their right to do so. Hence you were doing strawman attack on me.
1
+AJ Beamish Most people, including you have no idea what marxism is. Current liberals are marxists and are even supporting same policies that happened in soviets without even knowing it. Also this was precisely plan of soviets. Ex-KGB agents have already revealed this decades ago.
1
Nature why you so scary?
1
There is literally no evidence that DNC hacks were made by Russians. So far wikileaks have been politically most neutral news source and most trustful as well. They are hated by most political parties on this planet, this includes both democrats and republicans.
1
+Jd Ck 60's america was defending other countries from communism that has slaughtered millions of innocent people who just happened to disagree with that ideology. Country isn't violent because of the wars. With your reasoning a kid trying to stop bully from beating a weakling in school is a violent person.
1
It's just not skin color. Have you ever thought of black guy/girl with white skin? It's pretty hilarious.
1
Oh the irony, be slave if you use your own free will. Or be slave to god. Sounds like there is no choice in the first place. Funny isn't?
1
Eh, I live in Finland, and been in Sweden. Most of thoes countries are highly socialists countries when compared to USA. Hell we even have free education, health care, and we also give nice amount of social security payment for people who can't do jobs for reason X. Greed is the trade mark of the Capitalism. Greed also allows corruption. But this doesn't mean that there can't be corruption in communist states.
1
Many of them sees it that way. Also it's no excuse to save money if starting new small business takes 3 years to pay back. There are tons of other options and you know it. Stop trying to avoid issue and already admit that there is limited amount of money in this world that we can have, and we will have always poverty as long as few individuals decide to keep all those wealth for himself without actually spending it.
1
nope they are ridiculously safe if compared drugs before. He did state that nowdays. In another words he was comparing modern drugs to old ones.
1
You are trying to change issue again. How do you end up saying that saved money is invested money? Investing and saving is totally different thing, or are you saying that squirrels that save their nuts for winter are investing? Common, with your logic me putting my money under my pillow and never use it at all would be investing. Be real.
1
+Deck Hacksaw Russia was major power in Europe during WW1. You clearly haven't read the history books that much. "to defeating the more technologically advanced Germany and being the first in space. " Objectively false. Germany was more advanced. Also being first in space but with what cost? hundreds of millions of dead people.
1
Again you are just using ad hominem attacks here. Even if he would be hitler 2.0 it wouldn't be logical to make personal insults when arguing against him.
1
You do realize that the TED talk guy was advocating for socialism? Central planning. So far out of all systems you idiots believe and advocate. Capitalism has show best results for mankind.
1
+Simon Band Every country that has capitalism. Objective fact. Capitalism works better than socialism.
1
Strawman argument. You are saying that I have position that you claim even though I don't. I HAVE NEVER said that sharing your wealth with offsprings is greedy. Shame on you for using this kind of argument. It's also proven by science that people tend to help people they know and neglect people they don't know. This is why it might seem cold when someone doesn't give money to charity, but the same guy might help his friends greatly.
1
Wow talk about being paranoid. Enjoy your folio hat.
1
Stopped watching the moment this clown started to claim that riots, uprisings and "misinformation" didn't exists before media companies created internet.
1
How is your english relevant to the fact that only thing you have been doing here is nothing more than ad hominem attacks? It starts to seem that my insult was true. You truly can't even form an argument.
1
part 2 en.wikipedia(dot)org/wiki/Joseph_Mercola That guy is full of bullshit. I wouldn't take anything as truth from his article.
1
wow this is what I've been saying for years.
1
Why? Science fiction usually just tend to make horror scenes about anything. Worst of all stuff like that never happens in real life.
1
No it's argument against free will. Not against dualism. Dualism just happens to be part of that conversation often. He was arguing point that speaker made which is that our brains aren't a complicated program and that consciousness is really an illusion. Speaker made argument that it isn't a program/illusion because he made decision to raise arm. But Karlo here claimed that speaker never made that decision, but that decision was made before speaker was even aware of it.
1
We should do this in private messages, simply because you are making so many comment's that it's hard to answer to them all without missing some. America wasn't founded on greed. You are again mixing up self interest and greed together. If something they did fight against greed. Also history has shown how many countries and kings have fallen due greed (read romance of three kindomgs). Dolphins, penguins and humans they aren't that much of different. Even they can be assholes sometimes.
1
@florencelovme Funny since, most of the politicians in this world are theist :D. You haven't appearantly met alot of atheists, since I have seen philosophical atheists. Best of all I'm one of them.
1
Wow I want this treatment : O
1
IF they transfer their business to legal routes then they would be no different from any other company out there. Legalizing would only make sure that we would be able to get tax moneys out of it and also have surveillance over their products.
1
Obviously you don't have ability to point out flaws of his words without going to insult him.
1
Not actually strawman. There have been studies where it has been shown that our decisions are made before we are even aware of it. There was about 5 second difference. In other words we don't actually decide what we do. source. BBC Horizon - The Secret You. There you can find test about this study in action.

+Bruce Hunter Linux is capitalist OS. Oh wait... You're one of those idiots who don't understand that free stuff isn't against capitalism. Linux is finest example of capitalism.
1
+Bruce Hunter Oh the opposite. You're one of those who support socialism without knowing what it's. Capitalism is an economic system in which the means of production and distribution are privately owned. This means that private person is free to do whatever he wants with the product he created. He can distribute it for free or sell it. Hence Linux fits perfectly to the capitalism. Since it's creator decided to distribute it for free. It was up to him to decide what to do with it, not the state's decision.
