With This Finland just ensured that it won't be next free lunch for Russia. Russia has to make it's move now on whole NATO instead of slowly gobbling up countries next to it. Which as we all know... Russia will now lose if it starts war. Humanity has won and Russia has lost.

  16. It's precisely the reason why we joined NATO. Finnish people learned from WW2 that we should never be alone ever again. Russia is eternal enemy of our nation just like it's eternal enemy of every baltic and eastern european nation. Now were united and this unison ensures that Russia can never invade us again.

  19.  @utah20gflyer76  Nope, they formed 2 days into full blown military with highest Russian tech right after the protest. This isn't something that should happen that fast. Civilians don't organize fully functional hierarchical army in 2 days that is fully staffed and equipped with latest weapons.

There is literally no reason for some weird batalion to do things that you just said. If they wished to kill people in the east they would've done same as Russians do. Aka just gather all civilians and kill them while they are unarmed in organized manner. Far more efficient than sending some random battalion to shoot random targets.

  21.  @kaptrucking  USA sells arms to NATO countries, which is good business for USA. While Finland in this case would be net contributor to the NATO. Finland actually loses in terms of finances while being in NATO just to ensure that Russia won't even try to invade us. USA literally has a lot to gain by having Finland and Sweden part of the alliance and so does rest of the alliance. Finland alone provides 1,2 million well trained men to alliance, not to mention that their special troops defeated navy seals in mock battle.

  23.  @kaptrucking  European countries buy weapons from USA. Money that USA sends are in dollars which means that they can only be used by trading with USA. Which increases demand of Dollar and thus making currency stronger. I know that economics is bit too complex for simple Russians like yourself who had drank his brains off with Vodka.
