@kaltaron1284 Have you even read his history. Guy became pasifist and wanted to move into place where no nation exists. Then he tried to literally create commune in america without hierarchy or war. No currency being used. How is that not text book communism? Stateless and money less society without hierarchy.

@Fuk99999 trade settlements are made near thriving trade hubs. Such as Rome or Constantinople. Aka searoute regions that are easily connected to multiple places same time. Throfinns commune was in middle of nowhere with extremely risky sea route and it wasn't even near any empire. This would be worst place ever to build trade settlement. They would be functioning on loss.

It was just between great trade empries and used as hub. /Sarcasm. Greenland had nothing going on. Hardly worth to make trade colony relying on Greenland. @MohamedRamadan-qi4hl What natural resources did they find that weren't anywhere else and couldn't be cultivate anywhere else? Nothing... Anything related to food would spoil due to distances.
