Monogamy is for long term relationships with goal to build up family. Thus this whole poly thing is nothing but non-sense. In fact it's nothing but being sexually promiscuous.

  2.  @xylek9483  It takes humans 9 months to produce child. And around 15-years before it can defend itself. Birds aren't only monogamous creatures. Sorry but it's objective fact that human's life cycle and history strongly suggest that humans are monogamous. Just because you have sex with low IQ promiscious people, with daddy issues it doesn't mean that every human is like that.
