Henry was THE WITCHER. As much as they tried to make everyone else the lead character and Witcher being the side-character. The others just felt side-character. He carried through with great performance. Also writers were just insane and ignorant. Actual book and game series are focusing on him fathering/cultivating Ciri to (spoilers) become his legacy and in the game she could become the Empress with ability to planeswalk. The world was racist and sexists but the message and the end of the series wasn't. In fact the game allowed player to help Elves to fight back against racists and make women into major political keyfigures. Seriously it was perfect setup for progressives and liberals.... Yet they screwed it up totally.
