Love if meaningless. Fact is that person can fell in love to multiple people throughout their life time. People who chase the "feeling of love" are usually the ones who end up cheating their partner once the initial spark has declined.

@MK_ULTRA420 how is one suppose to do better against biological reality? Change the laws of nature?

This is something I learned hardway. However I only realized it after I gained loads of skills and talent which made women adore me. It's world of difference in relationship and quality of it when woman adores her partner.

@Andygb78 again you act as if you have some piece of wisdom that no one has never heard. Making things worse you embarrassed yourself by not even understanding what stoicism is about. It's not about becoming some cold hearted figure. It's about not worrying things you can't affect and focusing more on how you react to them. Not about lack of attachment or avoiding hurt. Also naming random philosophical/religious thought doesn't make it true. Every human including you just chases their emotions. Heck especially you. You wouldn't be wasting your time on comment section like this unless your ego would tell you to "prove that guy wrong". Which would signal the happy center in your brain "oh man this comment showed him! This makes me feel good and strong!". Stop acting as if you're some sort of genius or wiseman with these pop-philosophy lines that even kids in elementary school have heard before. Best of all... I asked you to name one that doesn't include avoiding feeling of hurt or trying to gain pleasure. Then you self-owned yourself by naming stoicism as way to avoid feeling hurt XD

@Andygb78 name one that doesn't include feeling pleasure or avoiding pain.

@Andygb78 That's called as investing in future "feels good". People wouldn't do it unless they saw the gains being worth it. Too easy... You clearly haven't thought thing through.

@jarenfromvenus Commitment is commitment. Love is literally feeling that people feel when certain chemicals move in their bodies

@BeNo-Simp-4all using sarcasm online is sign of lower iq. There is no facial expression nor voice thus random people can't determine is someone serious or not. Also sarcasm is generally used by those with low witted people.

Dunno, I have seen women apologizing to me lot of times. They only don't do it if they view they are better than you, aka they think they are merely settling with you.

Always the man who makes the offer? I have plenty of times women making the offer to me.

@SelectCircle and why is that?

@SelectCircle the heck you're talking about? You act as if you have some secret information and as if you're wise man but you can't even make coherent argument without being vague on details. How the heck am I getting played when I get laid?

@DanHaiduc 99% of population desires to have offsprings. Thus it falls to the list of "chasing good feelings". Based on your writing you never had a child. " you can fall in love without cheating. " I never said anything about cheating, just pointed out that people who chase strong "love" feelings always end up cheating. I had so many women declaring me as their "soulmate" while they cheat on their boyfriends. Entire concept of love is nothing but trick to make people breed.

@Andygb78 only one with issues is you. Your very behavior shows opposite of stoicism. You're literally acting emotionally here. You don't even understand the concept of stoicism, instead of you typical pop-culture view of it. This is hilarious. " But you also can't control me, " Except I'm already doing so. I manipulated you acting accordingly how I wanted by taunting your ego. Thus your very actions ended up proving me correct. This is hilarious.
